Eiffel Tower near The Hotel Petit Louvre
Built by Gustave Eiffel and his partners for the Universal Exposition of 1889, the Eiffel Tower – originally 300 meters high, now 324 meters – is situated at the edge of the Champ de Mars, just next to the Seine. With its 7 million visitors each year, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited sites around the world and one of the most characteristic symbols of Paris and France.
